I was going to say that. It isn't a windows problem. It is a hardware problem

If it's BIOS, then it's very likely still a PC. Macs use Intel's Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) to perform the same job as a BIOS and Apple has all their products crossover to EFI in the last ten years (estimated).
The real question is when this was shot and how much people should consider the reliable fruit company…;)
