Black Friday / Cyber Monday Aftermath

8 A Child Spreads the Message

Now that both are over, here are my spoils from of the busiest shopping days of the year:

  1. Music.  Lots o’ music.
Pink Floyd, Kutless, Train, Relient K, Mariah Carey, John Legend and The Roots…make yourselves at home.
  2. Donations to Gifts of Water and Charity: Water.
Joined some artists and gave over twice of what I paid for in songs shopping.

If we’re honest with ourselves, a lot of  this American holiday weekend is about consuming. I mean more than just food. And I know I did more than my share of it a few years back

But this year, I’m asking myself…

…what if I gave more than what I take?

…what if instead of always consuming,  what can I be producing?

…what if instead of adding more stuff, I can be creating change…and saving lives?

In a year with it’s ups and downs, I want to leave my mark on 2010. To make it more than just me.

You can leave one too.

Try it.  Give it a shot.

There’s 31 days left.  Let’s make it about others.

Giveaways, Vicky Beeching, & MWS CD

Giveaways are always nice.
It helps when you’re promoting your site or friend or company or really anything in general.
So nice…that many times, there will be random drawings among the participants and you wonder if you even have a shot among 10s or 100s of comments.

But every so often, you can get hit with good fortune. :-)

Thanks Vicky Beeching for the CD contest and Michael W. Smith for making a really great record.  Enjoying the amazing works you’re both bringing to our Church. God is so good.

When is the last time you won something?  What was it?

The Tithe-easy Money Clip

Wow.

Cool or Ouch?

Please Switch

So the funny thing is I have been a loyal PC person for most of my life. Heck I even built a monster computer in hopes of conquering the living world with all my gaming, TV-watching, even serving coffee.  All in the name of Christ.

Then when it finally kicked the bucket a year ago, I saw the light.

I was changed.

I’ll never be the same.

If I can’t convince you otherwise, maybe these pictures will.

365 Day 135

You’re welcome,
